Happy Lunar New Year of the Mouse 2020!

Posted by TetSanDiego.com on Saturday, January 11, 2020
This year, TetSanDiego.com has compiled a longer list of Lunar New Year festivals and fairs for San Diego. There are a total of 5 festivals throughout the county with the first ones happening during the weekend of January 17, 2020 at SDCCU Stadium in Mission Valley and Thuan Phat Supermarket in Linda Vista. Both of those are taking place for 3 days. See more details on hours and the entire list of lunar new year festivals on the homepage. The annual one in Mira Mesa will happen a week after that during the weekend of January 24, 2020 for 3 days while the Balboa Park one will take place for only two days on January 25 & 26, 2020. See the full hours of the Tet Lunar New Year Festival in Mira Mesa and Chinese Lunar New Year Festival in Balboa Park. Lastly, the San Diego Chinese New Year Fair in downtown San Diego will happen on February 8 & 9, 2020. See hours and details of the San Diego Chinese New Year Fair in downtown.

If you want to celebrate lunar new year during the week, instead of the weekend, taking the family to SeaWorld San Diego between January 11 - February 2, 2020 will allow you to enjoy Chinese food, see lion dances and more. The festivities are included with your SeaWorld admission ticket.

Wishing you and your family a year of prosperity and great health!
